Why You Must Be On Page One
I keep hammering on the importance of taking over page one of Google.
Today we talk about exactly why.
If you aren’t on page one of Google, your business isn’t being seen.

Google gets over 75% of all search traffic. Think about that, 1.5 billion people online and 75% of all their searches flow through Google’s front door – that’s a bunch to say the least.
Now the killer – 90% of those searchers never make it past page one, and in fact, according to studies, 90% of them find what they are looking for within the first 2 organic search results.
Now you know why Google is so popular and those statistics prove their algorithms deliver relevance to the searcher. This is why searchers love and trust Google – they find what they are looking for quickly and easily and here’s the important point – their trust is transferred to the results they find – please get and understand that.
You are the beneficiary of Google’s relevant searches. 75% of users trust the companies that are listed on the front page of Google – meaning you have instant credibility with your potential prospect/customer.
In February 2009 Google released it’s eye study test. This test was conducted by Google to assure they were giving relevant results to searchers. Google is totally based on keeping their search clients happy by delivering the most
relevant material for the end user – that’s why Google is the biggest and most popular search engine – they quickly deliver what people are looking for.
As you can see from this heatmap, users eyes scan the page beginning from top left to bottom, and this study shows exactly what I mean. You will see from this heatmap, that most people find what they are looking for in the first 2
results and never go further down the page, and 90% actually find what they are looking for on the front page and never go deeper into the search results.
