After examining their situation, we suggested marketing not just their site, but also 2 feeder sites and set up two domains to do so.

We did this to take advantage of the marketing advantages of a WordPress platform in addition to having two keyword specific domains to work with. It also gave us built in translation capabilities.
As you can see from the case study video, the strategy worked wonderfully well, as they now are #1 for one of their keywords and have two front page listings for their other keyword with 5 listings of the top 15 in Google.
